I’m a stay-at-home mom of a very young family. My baby will reach pre-school age soon, and given our financial constraints, my husband and I are seriously considering homeschooling our child. I think it’ll be wonderful to be able to take care of my kids so closely, but I do have some fears as well: what if I’m not a good teacher? What if my kids need social interaction and I couldn’t supply them with any? Wouldn’t I suffer from myopia if I’m the only one tracking my children’s academic progress?
